# Billing and plans

> Manage your subscription, payment method, and invoices, and understand session limits.

Billing lives under **Settings → Billing**. Checkout and payment details are handled by Stripe — Dava never sees your card number.

## Manage your subscription

* **Subscribe:** the Current Plan card takes you to a Stripe checkout page.
* **Change plan or payment method:** **Adjust Plan** opens the Stripe customer portal.
* **Cancel:** **Cancel plan** opens the portal's cancellation flow. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — a **Renew** button replaces both once cancellation is scheduled.

The **Payment** section shows the card on file (brand and last four digits), and the **Invoices** table lists every invoice with a link to view or download it.

## Session limits

Each plan includes a monthly session allowance. The Current Plan card shows your usage for the current billing period, for example "1,250 / 5,000 monthly sessions".

As you approach the limit:

| Usage         | What you see                               |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| Under 80%     | Nothing — no banner                        |
| 80–99%        | An amber banner suggesting an upgrade      |
| 100% and over | A red banner, and some actions are blocked |

When you're over the limit:

* **Tracking continues** — visits and events are still recorded; you don't lose data.
* **Creating new things is blocked** until you upgrade: adding domains, adding mappings, publishing domain config, and creating gateway pages.

Upgrading your plan through the billing page lifts the block immediately.
